Quest Australiainin combination with its New Zealand counterpart maintains flexible, small batch (typically 1 – 1000 parts) production facilities running mixed mode manufacturing with quick turnaround. We can supply as required from stock, to order and JIT against forecast schedules.
A summary of our manufacturing capabilities is as follows:
Moulding:
- 9 Injection Machines capable of running RIM, R-RIM, rigid and other foams, outputs 50grams per sec to 8 kg per sec.
- 2 Extra Large Fixed Mould Carriers.
- 1 Large Fixed Carrier.
- 30+ Multi-use Mobile Mould Carriers for smaller products.
- 2 Thermoplastic injection moulding machines for ancillary parts.
Natural Finishing:
- Automated de-greasing plant.
- Substrate preparation ready for painting, A-Class surfaces.
- Cellular layout and team based structure.
Priming & Painting:
- 1x conveyor fed paint booth with gas fired bake oven.
- 1 static combination paint booth and bake off oven for larger parts.
- Experience with all modern paint systems though partnerships with all major paint suppliers.
Logistics:
- Stores and warehousing of raw materials, components and finished products.
- Experience of working with customer consigned inventory.
- Regular export shipments, sea containers (FCL and LCL) plus air freight.
- China, NZ & Australia wide deliveries.
